My kids make me laugh an average of an hour a day

It may not sound like much, spending about 60 minutes of every day laughing aloud specifically due to stuff the kids do, but it seemed like a lot to me when I realized just how much time I spend laughing at their tiny person antics.

I wonder if it will be twice as much when they’re teenagers.  Only time will tell.

It depends on what you find funny! I always laugh when my 12-year-old rolls her eyes at me and says, “Mom!” with an exasperated sigh. I also laugh when my 10-year-old asks if she can have my Russian fairy tales book when I die.

I don’t find it funny per se but my heart swells with pride when I see both my daughters wanting to spend down time watching Star Trek: Voyager on Netflix.

Of course, I am easily amused, so that probably goes a long way toward finding my preteen kids funny!

Absolutely, you’ll just be cackling hysterically and everybody will belooking at you strangely. 🙂

Actually you really need to keep your sense of humor when they’re teens……and also their baby pictures close by.
